About the role and team
The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing team in the delivery of a variety of marketing activities including email marketing, online and offline events including webinars and podcasts, social media, SEO and PPC, literature and promotional material production.
 
  • Data entry, verifying, cleansing and updating and creating marketing campaign mailing lists
  • Implementation and monitoring of email campaigns including briefings, event invites and e-newsletters under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Executive and Marketing Communications Manager
  • Implementation and monitoring of social media activity under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Executive and Marketing Communications Manager
  • Maintaining and updating basic website and intranet information, such as staff profiles
  • In coordination with the Marketing Communications Manager and Senior Marketing Executive -laying out, proof-reading and printing marketing literature for events and client meetings
  • Supporting all staff with PowerPoint presentations, championing the correct use of the template
  • Production of video content under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Executive and Marketing Communications Manager
About the candidate
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of people at different levels
  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Good time management and organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A professional but can do attitude – not afraid to “get stuck in” 
  • Excellent MS Office skills working with templates when necessary
  • Able to meet multiple project deadlines and remain positive under pressure

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience working with social media (e.g. Twitter; Facebook) and reporting tools (e.g. Hootsuite; Sprout Social)
  • Experience working with webinars/webinar platforms (e.g. GoToWebinar)
